Prineville, OR

Prineville, dubbed the "Cowboy Capital" of Oregon was once home to several vast logging empires. Now-a-days, it is fast becoming the "Data Center" of Oregon. Very quaint and friendly town sits down in the valley (which turns out to be a cauldron). Wonderful place to live.

Prineville is one of my favorite spots.

The gateway to the Oregon Mines (http://www.photographoregon.com/Oregon-Mines.html) and of course both the Prineville Reservoir and the Ochoco Reservoir are great photography and birding locations!

Our daughter was the crooked River Round Up Queen many years ago so we have quite a fond spot in our hearts for Prineville.

Also out towards the Big Summit Prairie the wild horses roam!
